Hack may be a strong word, but I sure am taking advantage of the system!

So, the above is...as we all know... a Mustang Cobra R. Badass Mustang.

Forza 4 has this car on it's vehicle list (yeah I still play Forza 4, I'm cheap, big deal wanna fight about it?). What you DIDN'T know is that for some reason, every "Muscle" Ford in the game is swappable to AWD and a new Supercharged Shelby V8.

With this trick I have found so far that out of all the classic Mustangs available (boss, etc) the 1957 Ford Thunderbird makes for the fastest/highest rated car.

Yeah, that little guy.

Sounds like fun for AWD and a Shelby Supercharged V8 doesn't it?

Actually if you have the option for the stock car motor use it. It's actually faster than the Shelby after a little tuning. The 40 ford is insane with that combo

This is nothing new to the Forza universe. Crazy engine swaps are intentionally programmed in and everybody does it. Not even close to being a hack or exploit. :)

P.S. I still play Forza 4 too...Because Forza 5 is beautiful, but has no cars...

If you have the Porsche expansion, drop the Cayenne V8TT into the 924.It's hilariously over-powered.

Pfffft, n00b. I dropped the ZR1 motor into the 80s trans am and changed NOTHING ELSE. It doesn't have a nickname or anything, but it's my favorite.

I like to build wierd things in this game...needs more wierdness. I like to street race people with a van that has a fat motor swap and stuff. Oh wait thats in horizon.

No no no, it's not just an engine swap here.

It's putting AWD in it for a HUGE grip upgrade along with the massive engine.

Haven't done it yet. But I will next time I turn on Fourza.

I went on a crazy Ford building spree before I turned it off the other night.

Built the classic Mustangs, the Tbird, the Cobra R and did 1 race in the Cobra R (which got up to R2 btw, the classics were all R3's) before turning it off.

I was just looking at how I needed to build a bunch of old GM's.

I went on an old Ford building spree the other night and made all these in one shot lol.

The benefits of having free upgrades on these brands and 1.6 mil to buy cars lol

Oh yeah, that's also something well known in Forzaland.

Personally, I like making FWD cars into AWD or RWD. One notable example being the Fiat 500 Abarth. Making it RWD turns it into a drift monster! :)

It wasn't an option unfortunately.

It's funny though when you drop AWD and the Shelby into these classics they drop their top speed to 3 and i think it scares people off.

Once you swap in the Race Trans it shoots back up to almost 9. I don't normally do much in the way of tuning, though I know I should, I just never need anymore of an advantage vs the computer idiots.

Yeah I've always done it but I thought it was a rarity in a classic to be able to swap in AWD.

The 1973 Ford Falcon XB is unbeatable in A class when turned into AWD and properly optioned.

Yeah it doesn't take much to beat the AI. I'm not sure what all fords can run the stick car motor because the only fords I tune are for a special drag racing league where we run realistic original muscle cars. So all the cars are bone stock with a few mods to allow a little real life. Most of the cars run actual real world times and the racing is really close.

I tend to just race the AI. If I ever finish all the races in the game the world might end...I mean I might go on xbox live to race then lol

Most free cars yeah. I'm also not a big fan of porsches.

My wireless adapter is a pain in the ass and I have to re-enter my wireless code every time i turn the 360 on, and it's an annoying old school crazy pass code 1oi3u4htgwueksrydhfgboqialerufhdgjb type security code so I don't even go onto live often anymore.

Lame. Porsche is pretty cool. The 70's RS makes for a good Singer tribute, and it's a blast to drive. As is the 83 Turbo.

Actually, almost all of them are fun. The Carrera GT is borked though.

no unfortunately you cant remove fenders etc. I just raise it put rally tires on (I think) and try to pretend its a baja bug.

Yeah I know. I really need to stop being a cheap bastard who uses a wireless adapter from an original xbox that's made by linksys and not even microsoft.

But hey, I'm cheap lol. $50 for new wireless adapter or....50 towards the new neutral safety switch I need for the Montego.

It really is impressive what the game is capable of, I would say we are serious league. Most of love muscle cars and how they really perform. Any once can throw the upgrades on a car but driving a pretty much stock muscle car is fun and a challenge to get it to run the times.
